Hi Peter
I'm really sorry for not writing sooner, but a lot has been going on since we returned from our trip.
I just want to let you know what a fantastic trip you arranged for us. The sites, the cruise, the hotels, food - everything was wonderful. Probably most important was the quality of our guides and drivers. They were uniformly excellent - warm, friendly, articulate, informative and flexible. We were there during that lengthy heat wave and temperatures were off the charts; our guides made excellent suggestions about moving things around in our itinerary to keep everyone more comfortable and to avoid crowds wherever possible.
It would be difficult to tell you what we liked best as each destination was so impressive. Flying into Abu Simbel was a great suggestion as we were able to visit with almost no other people around (in between the caravans) and - because we stayed over night - we were able to return for a magnificent sunrise. Speaking of sunrises, the climb up Mt. Sinai was arduous but well worth it - wouldn't have missed that for anything. Dahab was beautiful and a great place to relax in the middle of the trip. And you were definitely right about spending time in the desert; totally different from anywhere we'd been and the camping was a lot of fun. The cruise was wonderful too and we particularly appreciated the independence having our own guide and drivers provided. We did visit the Nubian village and ate dinner at the Nubian restaurant in Aswan. We also went to the Nubian Museum and would highly recommend it; it was really well done - much better than the Egyptian Museum in Cairo which seems to be a mass of storage and confusion. I know they're building a new one - about time, eh?
So thanks again for everything. We certainly hope to get back for another visit and will be sure to use Lady Egypt again in the future .

The whole Egyptian experience was fantastic. I was absolutely gob-smacked with the pyramids and all the temples especially Abu Simbel and Karnak. The Nile cruise was fabulous and the food was to die for. If you go on any other tour than a 2 visit egypt tour you are crazy as we had the best time, saw everything and made friends that I hope we keep forever. I am 56 and everyone looked out for me especially the tour guide. So, don't ever think you are too old for one of these trips as I'll never forget how great it was , Our tour company this time was 2 visit egypt. It is excellent and fantastic. Of all, the best service company in Egypt. We recommend if you plan to travel to Egypt use this company.
